Pitch

Two discoverers from different families are good friends, the Carlisle family have a supernatural talent to hide items in drawings which the Mortons know about.
When they are treasure hunting, they discover a key to millions worth of treasure but which comes with a secret that could ruin both families.
They vow to keep it safe and hidden so the secret is never revealed.
The key is deemed ‘lost’ as it is passed down the generations and kept hidden.
The descendents of the two families eventually row and there is tension between them. One family (Carlisle, protagonists) wants to keep the key hidden away and protect the secrets, the other (Morton, antagonists) are greedy and just want to get to the treasure with no regard for the secrets that their family were trying to keep. As they argue, the Carlisles’ talents also become hidden.
As the families become more desperate, they become involved in a race to find the key.
A ‘mole’ in the Morton family has the key and hands it to the Carlisle family as they believe it will be safer with them.
The Carlisles hide it in a drawing which the Mortons later steal without knowing it is the real key and used as a reference.
The Carlisles and the ‘mole’ work together to try to uncover what the devastating secrets involve.
The Mortons threaten the Carlisles for knowledge of where the key is as they discover they have been doing some kind of research.
The two families have a standoff/fight where the Carlisles also manage to subtly recover their missing drawing.
Later, the Mortons discover the Carlisles’ talent and realise they had the key.
The Carlisles and the ‘mole’ find out what the secret involves and realise the extent of damage it could do.
As the Mortons discover and confront the mole, they reveal why it's important to keep the secret hidden.
The Mortons realise that the key would be better hidden and resolve their issues with the Carlisles.

All ends well and the families become friends again.
